A warm and lighthearted FENDI was presented for this SS20, as Silvia Venutrini Fendi’s SS20 gave a reassuring nod to the Italian sunrise.
The colour palette flowed from acid white to the palest pink, honey and pecan. There was a soft light shining onto the collection as it unfolded with intricate florals. and dainty patterns which interlocked to portray an airiness — simultaneously highlighting the superior craftsmanship at Fendi. A sensual play of transparency and perforation, to knits, weaving and a variance of tone/texture revamps, we saw the house present tradition with a dash of rebellion.
Iconic accessories were presented in an array of natural matters from the Peekaboo bagsin woven raffia, latticework leather and open weave FF logo print. The Baguettes, encrusted with blanket flower marquetry as stack-heeled slingback loafers and peep-toes were paired with knee high socks.
