Alexa Demie is Hollywood’s new It Girl.

Alexa Demie is most well known for playing Maddy Perez in the HBO drama Euphoria. Maddy herself is the It Girl of her high school, and experiments with sleek, stylish clothing, featuring cutouts, pastels, and matching sets.

Just like her character, Alexa Demie’s style is always ahead of the curve, and it’s definitely one to keep our eyes on. The star, who recently became a Balenciaga muse (and has stunned audiences with her red carpet looks for years), is now becoming a favourite of the fashion world. Her personal style is chic and bold: she often wears pieces with unique drape techniques, colour choices, or Y2K-inspired patterns. Alexa also loves see-through dresses and sleek, monochromatic looks. From Y2K accessories to glamorous gowns, let’s look at Alexa Demie’s top style moments off-screen:

All Green Everything

For the Euphoria premiere earlier this year, Alexa wore three custom Balenciaga looks, but the neon green ensemble turned the most heads. She wore a velvet full-length bodysuit (with built-in gloves), a faux-fur fuzzy neon-green coat, and stiletto shoes that blended into the outfit. She wore the perfect cool-girl accessories to finish off the look: sparkly hoop earrings and oversized sunglasses.

Hollywood Glam

In October 2019, Alexa’s old-Hollywood-glam look embodied the theme of Elle Magazine’s Hollywood Rising celebration. She wore a pearly, gathered jersey dress, sheer black opera gloves, and tights. Her glam didn’t stop there: she wore a set of gold and silver rings, a bracelet, silver drop earrings, velvety brown lipstick, and a hairpin to hold her curls to the side.

Classic Menswear 

In November 2019, Alexa brought a unique twist to the classic dark-academia inspired menswear look. She gave an oversized blazer a new look: the piece had a unique, cape-inspired drape, and showcased the shoulders of her inner leather vest. She completed the relaxed yet chic silhouette with a simple gold necklace.

Y2K Revival

Alexa unapologetically embraced Y2K style with this look: she wore a sleek black dress with a crystal embellished cutout, and an alluring leopard-print coat on top. Her accessories were also reminiscent of the early 2000s: yellow-tinted sunglasses and a Louis Vuitton monogram denim purse. 

Cozy Chic

In January, Alexa met with model Hailey Bieber, and the duo were seen wearing matching coloured coats. Alexa wore a mustard yellow Balenciaga teddy bear coat with a studded handbag, black beret, and platform combat boots.

Balenciaga’s Muse

Alexa, Balenciaga’s newest muse, captured the heart of the fashion world with her look for Balenciaga’s F/W 2022 show. Her outfit, a fresh take on the ‘00s skirt-over-pants trend, was remarkable in its all-black monochrome. She wore an oversized, off-the-shoulder black button-up shirt with faux-leather cargo-style pants and a short, sleek skirt worn over. She completed the look with black pointy heels, a small black bag, a chunky gold necklace-and-earrings set, her hair styled in micro bangs, and jewel tones of purple and blue adorning her eyes.

Floral Lace

Alexa’s runway looks are equal parts glamorous and contemporary. For the 28th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party, she wore a show-stopping Giambattista Valli gown. It featured a strapless neckline with tulle ruching, an embellished lace bustier that flowed into the rest of the gown, and billowing sleeves.

One thing’s for certain: Alexa Demie embodies cool-girl confidence, Hollywood glamour, and laid-back, cozy street style. It’s no surprise that she’s slowly becoming one of our favourite It Girls.
