As Toronto enters Phase 2 of reopening, INK Entertainment is happy to announce that Cabana Waterfront Patio will open for outdoor dining Thursday, June 25th, 2020. With 50,000 square feet of patio space and a licensed capacity for 2,500, the outdoor waterfront restaurant is the largest in the city and can welcome over 400 guests.

“We have made significant investments to reopen Cabana as a fulltime restaurant,” says Charles Khabouth, CEO, INK Entertainment. “Between reconfiguring the space, procuring appropriate personal protective equipment, retraining staff, and using industry-leading sanitization, there was a great amount of work to be done to provide a safe and seamless experience with new measures in place. It will be an interesting few months as we continue to adjust, but we are thrilled to have our employees back, to see the supply chain in action, and have our city’s economy restart.”

Launched in 2013 as Cabana Pool Bar, the summertime venue has hosted some of the world’s biggest DJs and many cultural and corporate events. The expansive patio has been reconfigured to welcome guests for brunch, lunch, dinner, and drinks with unobstructed city views and a revamped menu by hospitality specialists, Oliver & Bonacini. Perfect for enjoying on a patio, new items include a selection of fresh salads, pizza, sushi, sandwiches and burgers, and traditional entrees including barbeque chicken, ribs, filet mignon, grilled octopus, and much more.

With strategically placed tables and a reservation-only model, Cabana Waterfront Patio’s new protocols include PPE worn by all staff, thoroughly sanitized venue surfaces between service, disposable glassware and cutlery, touchless menus, a maximum of six people per group, separate entrances and exits, and cabanas separated by plexiglass.
