The Much-anticipated Balenciaga x Adidas partnership made its debut at the house’s Spring/Summer 2023 runway show in New York. Demna Gvasalia, the creative director of Balenciaga, made quite an impression on fashion observers on Sunday, May 22.
Demna Gvasalia debuted his Balenciaga Spring 2023 collection in New York City, which featured a few pieces designed in collaboration with Adidas Originals.

Balenciaga x Adidas, the newest luxury sportswear collaboration clearly shows the industry’s growing ease with streetwear. After collaborating with Prada and Gucci, the traditional sportswear label has demonstrated its capability of transforming sneakers, apparel, and even balaclavas into exquisite pieces.
Collaborations, especially those that merge athletic and streetwear with legacy luxury labels, are becoming increasingly common these days. High-end brands are deeply invested in streetwear and athletics, making Adidas collab absolute sense for Balenciaga.

The models wore full-face gimp masks with new Adidas tracksuits that combined the sports brand’s traditional stripe designs and logo with the oversize and streetwear vibe of Balenciaga. The brand also redesigned the Adidas logo, preserving the trefoil motif but changing “Adidas” to “Balenciaga.”
The collection has a sporty, footballer vibe to it, with prices ranging from $210 for socks to $5,500 for jackets, which also include tracksuits, dresses, T-shirts, beanies and shorts, and other accessories.

The Triple-S and Speed Trainers from Balenciaga have been upgraded with three stripes in black, white, and a vibrant blue. You may find oversized T-shirts, track jackets, faded sweatshirts, basketball shorts, and even some big denim pants with the Three Stripes and stylized co-branding with latex face layers that Balenciaga designed with every piece.
Many of top celebrities and Demna’s close friends attended the Balenciaga Resort 2023 runway show, including Kanye West, Megan Thee Stallion, Offset, Pharrell Williams, Frank Ocean, and Chlo Sevigny, among others.
