Baskin Robbins launched their new flavour “Mangonada” as a tribute to the traditional Mexican frozen beverage that combines the saltiness of the chamoy, the spiciness of Tajín® Clásico Seasoning and the sweetness of Mango, which is the ingredient of this delicious beverage.

An extensive flavour development journey of two years to create the perfect tribute, trying and testing dozens of mangonadas and learning more about them, enabled Baskin-Robbins to bring the ultimate sweet, tart, and savoury trifecta to guests across the country.

Baskin-Robbins’ Mangonada swirls the bright, tropical flavour of mango puree with a salty and tart kick of chamoy. A sprinkle of Tajín® Clásico Seasoning – a signature Mexican combination of mild chilli peppers, lime, and sea salt – tops off the drink with a mild kick of spice, leaving taste buds with an unforgettably unique experience and it is available in three sizes.

One of the key ingredients in the Mangonada is chamoy, which is a traditional Mexican condiment. The chamoy used in Baskin-Robbins’ Mangonada is added to the bottom of the cup to create a thick layer that blends into the mango puree as it poured on top and it is also drizzled at the top.

Another ingredient used for the Mangonada, is Tajín® Clásico Seasoning which gives it a mild kick of spice and it’s the ingredient that really gives the Mangonada a different flavour from all the other ones.

Baskin Robins asked their favourite internet personalities to try their new
Mangonada in One Word: the Montoya twinz what they think the word is “CHAmazing”, @Youknowdenise says “it’s sabrosito, saladito, dulcito, every word that ends in -ito, really” and LGND says it’s Bold. They just couldn’t get enough of it.
