The countdown is on until some of music’s brightest stars touch down in New York City for the tenth anniversary of Governors Ball. The three-day festival returns from June 5th to June 7th at Randall’s Island Park with a stacked lineup that fuses genres and eras, and experiential upgrades that first-time and regular festival-goers will surely appreciate.

The festival will kick off with sets from Tame Impala, Stevie Nicks and Canadian Grammy-winner Alessia Cara on day one. Day two will feature sets from DJ Flume, The Internet alumni Steve Lacy and Call Me Maybe singer Carly Rae Jepson. To close the weekend, attendees will see sets from UK Grime rapper and Top Boy actor Dave, New York native Princess Nokia and a throwback performance from Missy Elliot. The bill also includes Vampire Weekend, Miley Cyrus, Summer Walker and H.E.R.

In addition to the lineup, Governors Ball announced that there will be flushable toilets on-site, a rare luxury at outdoor festivals where porta-potties are the norm.

Needless to say, the stakes are going to be pretty high for the 2020 Governors Ball, after bad weather brought last year’s fest to an early close. But with a stacked lineup and an on-site upgrades, Governors Ball is gearing up for an iconic weekend.
