While the Canadian labour market recovers, employer hiring appetite is strong: Job postings on Indeed Canada are well above pre-pandemic level and yet Canada’s unemployment rate continues to struggle at 7.1%. 

To combat this and quickly connect job seekers with companies hiring now, Indeed, Canada’s number one job site, announced the launch of Interview Days: a week-long virtual hiring event taking place between September 27 and October 1, 2021. Indeed’s mission is to help people get jobs, and the Interview Days initiative aims to quickly connect job seekers with employers hiring for a wide range of open positions across Canada with a goal of helping 1,000 people get jobs.

Opportunities are available at over 55 participating companies across a variety of industries and include A&W Restaurants, Michael Garron Hospital and CGI Group. Canadians can find all participating companies and apply for open roles at ca.indeed.com/interviewdays.
