CityView Drive-In is thrilled to partner with Inside Out as part of the City’s DriveInTO initiative to present Behind The Curtain: Todrick Hall. The free all-ages screening will take place at the city’s newest concert and entertainment venue on Wednesday, July 29th, 2020.

Behind The Curtain follows Todrick as he launches his most ambitious project yet: the original musical, Straight Outta Oz. Writing and recording songs by night and shooting music videos by day, while at the same time preparing to take the show on the road, this is a documentary about a hardworking man on a mission.

Through the songs and videos, he creates Todrick entertains while tackling issues like gun violence and police brutality, personal struggles around being Black and gay in America, and his difficult relationship with his mother.

From the co-director of Inside Out favourite Call Me Kuchu, Katherine Fairfax Wright, Behind the Curtain: Todrick Hall gives us an insider look at the inspiring man behind the computer screen.
