Depending on who you ask, the shift to a virtual workplace is either a breath of fresh air or a prison sentence with a webcam. As a college student fighting my way through online classes, I live in the sweet spot of extending my sleep to just before class but waking up early enough that I still have time to grab a coffee. However, I think we can all agree that we could do without the productivity shame that comes with having your domicile double as your office, and the other side effects of working virtually. But why not make the best of it? For the fashionable throwing together a meticulously selected outfit is practically the whole motivation to get out of bed. Although it’s tempting to soak in the same pair of sweatpants each day, don’t let constant Zoom calls be a reason to throw in the fashion towel.
