After an amazing first movie ‘Knives Out’, a sequel to the franchise begins production in Greece.

Detective Benoiut Blanc played by Daniel Craig is now a famous character whose detective journey will be shared once again. Rian Johnson, director of the franchise posted on Twitter the announcement of the first day of filming on the beautiful peaceful shores of Greece. It’s no surprise the sequel was greenlit after an outstanding $311.5 million grossed at the global box office from their drastically smaller budget of $40 million. This franchise of both the to be “Knives Out 2” and “Knives Out 3” was bought out by Netflix meaning the franchise will surely keep us entertained for at least another two movies and possibly more!
From the last film, we have garnered the intellectual capacity for Detective Benoit Blanc and his cunning. We will surely see another film full of twists and turns as the mystery slowly unravels itself. What more can you want from a film that was greenlit for another film just a few short months after the first’s release.

Well from the shared photo and various media reports, the location for the second installment in the franchise is reported to be around Spetses, an affluent island off the northeastern Peloponnese coast. The location has beautiful beaches and stunning, picturesque views which we will surely enjoy when it comes to theatres. The location is known as the Greek Riviera meaning we can expect a subtropical climate with lush greenery as the location is noted for its beauty and climate. Filming is expected to conclude shooting in Greece by the end of July or August. The change from gloomy Massachusetts to sunny Greece will surely be a welcome one as the eye candy will be throughout the upcoming movie.

Other than the location we can expect the return of Daniel Craig in his role as the private investigator Benoiut Blanc. However, he is likely alone in his return to the franchise as a brand new cast will be seen in the next addition. Joining the new mystery are Madelyn Cline, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kate Hudson, Kathryn Hahn, and Dave Bautista.
