Every year L’Oréal Paris’ Women of Worth Program honours ten women who give back to their community. This year’s honorees have devoted their time to issue such as the opioid epidemic mental health crisis and empowering girls in underprivileged communities. 

Women of Worth was inspired by L’Oréal Paris’ tagline “Because I’m Worth It” honouring the amazing work of women who not only embody the spirit of the L’Oréal brand, are self-confident and commit to making a difference in other people’s lives, but inspire and create a positive change in their communities. Women of Worth is a celebration of women who have made a difference through volunteer work in their communities. 

Ten nominees are recognized as Women of Worth and receive a $10,000 donation to her most cherished charitable cause. One of the ten is chosen by popular vote via online voting and will be recognized as the National Woman Of Worth Honoree. Her charity will receive a donation of $25,000 from L’Oréal Paris in her name. All honorees will receive national recognition for both her cause and her efforts.

Anyone can be nominated as long as they do it on time, now is the time for voting. Women of Worth is a three-phase program: first, nomination, where you submit your nomination with the cause and self-nominations, are permitted; second, voting reading the thumbnails to learn more about the ten honorees so you can vote your favourite and third-celebration where the official announcement of the National Honoree and the ten Women of Worth Class of 2020 is celebrated.

In their 15 years going, this program has honoured 150 with a combined $1.8 million dollars approx., and have helped to amplify worthy causes and has provided a platform where they can share their stories and make a bigger impact in the lives of others.
