Opening this Saturday, October 24th with 5,400 square feet of heated and tented dining space, The Marquee is Toronto’s newest steak and seafood house accentuated by Canadian artist Bruno Billio’s “TRON: As The Sun Sets” fluorescent installation.

“We reinvented Cabana this summer as the city’s largest outdoor restaurant patio to allow for a fun and safe dining experience,” says Charles Khabouth, CEO, INK Entertainment. “As we enter the colder seasons, we are excited to do it again with a new dinner and Sunday brunch menu, and Bruno Billio’s interactive art installation. It is a stunning body of work that creates an incredible, photo-worthy art scene inside the tent. With minimal entertainment available in the city right now, the activation creates a fantastical and elegant dining experience unlike anything else in Toronto.”

The structure of the outdoor dining space will be bathed in colours of an electric sunset composed of yellow and pink neon strings that create a large-scale ceiling installation. The sunset colours will wash along the sides through colour-filtered moving projections and create a glowing neon orange jewel Hennessy bar in homage to the iconic liquor brand. Similar TRON activations have previously been featured at prominent city events including Fashion Magazine’s relaunch and Nuit Blanche Art Festival.

A new dinner menu by Oliver and Bonacini has been reimagined to cater to the colder weather and features a variety of satiating steaks and seafood. The menu also serves salads and soup, and a selection of savoury entrees, with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options available. Exclusive prix fixe menus will be available for special occasions like Halloween and New Year’s Eve, where costumes and dressing up are highly encouraged. Sunday brunch will launch on Sunday, November 1st and feature traditional brunch fare.

A winter-inspired cocktail list by the award-winning mixologist, Nishan Nepulongada, integrates warm and chilled elixirs, including a Fireball Hot Toddy, Warm Fashioned, Spicy Margarita and a vodka-based apple cider.

As safety remains a top priority, all guests will be temperature checked upon arrival and are required to scan a QR code for contact tracing purposes. All tables will be positioned a minimum of six feet apart, with a maximum of six guests per table. All rules and regulations established by local health and government authorities will be implemented at The Marquee.
