Say HELLO To The National Woman’s Show The One-Stop-Shop For A Makeover Inside & Out, and the ultimate “Girls’ Day Out”…

If you’ve never been to this exhibition, you may be thinking let’s get ready for live demos, free samples, booths & vendors for days… the ultimate girl’s day out. What you may not expect is to leave empowered through “Ted-Talk-Like” speeches sprinkled in from leading women in all industries.

The Vibe

Let’s get it straight, anything women related went from “Lady The Fack Up” T-shirt sales, to info on kegal balls meant to help women post-pregnancy, to Toronto Female Police Recruitment, to even a holistic nutritionist professional sharing the latest in female self-care. This event was equipped with fashion runways, kitchens for live cooking demonstrations and stages for inspiring seminars and dare I say, a pamper yourself free massage station, courtesy of Oxford. The National Woman’s Show was about you enjoying yourself with the expertise of local and international talent.

Shop Till You Drop

We all know true happiness and confidence is available for all women, it’s a mindset. However, if you’re anything like me…a little cheeky and just want to purchase ‘sexy’ in a bottle or indulge in a little retail therapy, household names like Givenchy were there to cater to you. Let’s not forget, fun emerging stationary brands like Alison Gordon studios that also graced those floors adding some va va voom. It was one of the more intriguing brands I encountered. Allison Gordon Studio is a collection of beautifully hand-drawn designs by graphic designer and illustrator Allison Gordon, a former Parson’s graduate, previously working with brands such as Michael Kors and Proenza Schouler. Her line carries a collection of art, and stationary items such as greeting cards, notebooks, calendars, and home decor. You can view more of her collection at www.theagstudio.com

Rise While Uplifting Others

If you’re looking for personal growth and development, the life and learning stage had you covered with diverse talks ranging from Empowering Women Through Financial Planning with Semra Albayrak from IG Wealth Management to Dating in the New Age To Put Your Best Foot Forward-with Linda Miller.
