Cult favourite sustainable fashion label Reformation is hosting a special vintage popup this weekend at their only Canadian location — in Yorkdale mall.  In line with their eco-friendly efforts, Reformation is helping to breathe new life into a carefully curated vintage collection. While Ref has launched Vintage collections online — which typically sell out in as quickly as 24 hours — this time you’ll have a chance to try the one-of-a-kind pieces in store. The special trunk show will be running this weekend from November 15th-17th.

As one of the sustainable leaders in fashion, Reformation is standing by their ethos of helping to reduce their eco-footprint. With 85% of clothing that’s tossed by consumers ending up in landfills, Reformation has comitted to reusing and recycling at least 100,000 garments in 2019. The brand has supported these goals by launching a number of initiatives.

From buying vintage pieces to curate into an online collection to working with other designers to buy “deadstock” fabrics that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill. In addition to, launching a recycling program called REfRecycling, which allows customers to send in their old clothes for repurposing, and partnering with Osomtex — a textile waste company that upcycles fabric scraps.
