Congratulations are in order for Christine Quinn and her husband Christian Richard, who finally welcomed their bundle of joy!

The Selling Sunset star and husband Christian Richard, whom she married two years ago, welcomed their first child, Christian Georges Dumontet on May 15.
Quinn underwent an emergency C-section, mere days after walking the red carpet at the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards Unscripted in Los Angeles. Quinn described to her Instagram followers she was “literally about to pop” at the award show.
Quinn shared the news in an Instagram post on May 19. “It’s official! I’m a mommy!” The post features a series of black and white images of Quinn showcasing her pregnant belly.
She expresses her thanks in the Instagram post, “I am beyond grateful to my husband, and to all the wonderful doctors and nurses who helped me. It was a little scary, but we are beyond grateful.”
The little bundle of joy was born a healthy baby boy on Saturday, May 15, at 4:22 p.m. in Los Angeles, weighing 6 lbs., 14 oz.
Quinn shared how her husband was her “rock” during the birth process.
“He was very calm throughout the whole process,” she told PEOPLE. “One day I might share more about what happened, but for right now, I am humbled and grateful that three of us came home from the hospital.”

Quinn also described what it was like holding her baby for the first time, “It was the most magical moment of my life.”
“Suddenly, there is a tiny human in my arms. It was surreal when I was finally able to hold him and kiss his little nose. I can’t believe that we created this little miracle.”
Quinn has nothing but love for her baby boy, she said, “Baby C is more precious than I could have ever imagined. Nine months seems like a lifetime to wait to meet someone. It is the most incredible feeling to know that you have created life”

The little one also seemed to inherit his mother’s great fashion sense, the new mom pointed out: “Let’s just say he was born with good taste. He has a closet filled with designer outfits that I cannot wait to dress him in!”
