For over two decades, Target has been providing customers high-fashion collections at affordable price points through its much-anticipated designer capsule collection for over two decades. The retailer’s Fall 2021 drop will feature not just one or two labels, but four designer fashion labels on a limited-edition line. Target has started unveiling photos of models sporting select pieces in each designer’s collection to highlight each line’s distinct style.

“For the past 20 years our guests have continued to express excitement when we introduce them to new and emerging designers from across the globe, all at an incredible value,” Jill Sando, executive vice president, and chief merchandising officer at Target, said in a statement. “This fall, we’re building upon that legacy and bringing together four dynamic and highly regarded designers to introduce a collection of inclusive, on-trend, and timeless fashion staples to re-energize guests’ wardrobes for the fall season.”

The Fall collection will represent each respective fashion designer’s aesthetic and will include a range of staple fashion pieces. Modern and classic fall essentials will be included, including leather blouses and smocked dresses. More than 180 apparel and accessories items will range in a variety of sizes, from XXS up to 4X, and most pieces being priced from $15 to $80.

Victor Glemaud, an independently-owned Black designer, is known for his statement knitwear seen on notable figures such as Meghan Markle and Selena Gomez. Bold patterns and bright color blocking are what can be expected by shoppers from his line. New-York based fashion designer Rachel Comey’s capsule collection will include “unconventional takes on classics” – like “sweater pants” and “denim handbags.”

Israeli-American designer Nili Lotan’s capsule is “inspired by European simplicity” but will also include a hint of a 70’s Americana vibe to energize the pieces. Lotan’s pieces have been spotted on the likes of Jennifer Aniston to Gwyneth Paltrow. Lastly, designer Sandy Liang, whose grandmothers in Chinatown served as the inspiration for her brand, will incorporate the iconic sporty, yet chic designs in her fall capsule collection. Her fleeces have been sported by the likes of Gigi Hadid and Hailey Baldwin.

Meanwhile, the company apparel assortment continues to expand. In the most recent quarter, apparel sales grew 60 per cent, year over year, due to strength across loungewear, innerwear, activewear, men’s wear, and children’s apparel.
