It looks like Shimon Yehuda Hayut aka Simon Leviev finally has some real “enemies” after him. The Leviev family of LLD Diamonds have filed a civil lawsuit again the Tinder Swindler for defrauding, conning, falsifying and hurting women, men and businesses.

The con artist at the centre of Netflix’s hit true-crime documentary, The Tinder Swindler, has been sued for millions of dollars. Court documents obtained by PEOPLE, claim the Israeli Russian Diamond Tycoon Lev Leviev is pursuing Shimon in court.

The court documents reveal that the Leviev family are suing on the basis that Shimon impersonated them and unjustly benefited from using their last name. As for anyone whose seen the documentary knows, Shimon managed to con $10 million out of unsuspecting victims by claiming that his life was in danger.

While the Tinder Swindler did have his day in court before, he only served 5 months out of his 15 month sentence due to good behaviour. His victims also never received their money back but that may all change now. Lev Leviev’s daughter Chagit Leviev, told Page Six that any proceeds from the lawsuit will be given back to the victims. Shimon has yet to comment on the lawsuit.
