With the cold and brutal winters quickly approaching, tropical holidays are on the horizon and a must for many considering we have not been able to go on them for the last two years.

2022 is beginning to look like it will be a good year. We are moving into a small sense of normalcy and have navigated how to deal with and approach the COVID-19 pandemic. Everybody is feeling the travel bug and now is the time to book your tropical trips for next year!

Cancun, Mexico

There is a small chance that you will experience some rain if you travel to Cancun in January but the rain showers typically only last 30 minutes to an hour. Travelling roughly an hour south from Cancun you will arrive in Playa del Carmen which is a tourist-friendly town with small boutique hotels, delicious dining options, nightlife, and shopping.

Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Unlike most of the Caribbean islands, Punta Cana has tons of large resort hotels that can have upwards of 1,000 rooms. Due to the large size of the resorts in Punta Cana, they are able to offer the best rates anywhere in the Dominican Republic. The colour of the sand and ocean will blow you away.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Puerto Vallarta is the perfect destination for people living on the West Coast. Their large resorts, hot and dry January days, and cool evenings. Puerto Vallarta is a very historical city, with a beautiful and interesting city center and rows of resorts much like Cancun. Puerto Vallarta is typically a more affordable destination spot as well.

Montego Bay, Jamaica

Montego Bay is reasonably priced for the peak travel times, January through April. With many options for beachside relaxing, there are also many water sport options for those who are looking for some adventure and thrill.

Mexico City, Mexico

Mexico City is filled with beautiful ruins, old architecture, fantastic shopping, and a fun nightlife scene. This is the perfect destination trip if you are looking for a hot trip with more cultural and historic information.

Pull out your suitcases, pull out all the summer clothes you just put back into storage, get out your passport and book your tropical winter destination. We all deserve a tropical trip after the last almost two years of hard times and lack of travel!
