On New Years Day, Renner was involved in a snowplow life-threatening accident that left him hospitalized for 2 weeks with 30 broken bones, according to E! News. According to his statements, he had used the snowplow to move a truck out of the snow, but shortly lost control of it. Trying to save his nephew that could have been on the vehicle’s way, the actor fell out of it and got seriously injured.

Jeremy Renner Interview

Earlier this week, the actor opened up about the accident in an interview with Diane Sawyer. As he recalled the accident, the actor said he was “awake through every moment”, as written here.

“You shouldn’t be outside the vehicle when you’re operating it, you know what I mean? It’s like driving a car with one foot out of the car. But it is what it was. And it’s my mistake, and I paid for it.” he said.

“It’s exactly like you would imagine it would feel like. … I was on asphalt and ice — I wish I was on snow.” he continued. “Too many things are going on in the body to feel … pain is everything,” Jeremy added, as he talked about the accident. “It’s like if your soul could have pain.”
