Serial Killer London Samaria Ayanle Body Found

The body of missing 19-year-old missing student Samaria Ayanle was tragically found in the River Thames in England. Samaria went missing on February 22nd and was last seen at her university accommodations. The day that she went missing, a body was discovered near Putney Pier but upon the discovery, authorities believed it didn’t match up to any of the missing persons reports. Samaria’s disappearance was only reported on March 8th but authorities have since linked the body that they found on the 22nd of February to be Samaria Ayanle’s.

Since news broke of Samara’s body being recovered, there have been reports that there have been a number of black women whose bodies have been found in or near bodies of water recently with many of them being ruled as “non-suspicious”. For Black Women UK, posted the names of the women on their X account, stating that Blessing Olusegun, Richard Okorogheye, Olisa Odukwe, Kayon Williams, Taiwo Balogun, and Samaria Ayanle all turned up dead near bodies of water and the authorities have not been investigating most of these cases as anything unusual. This has now prompted people online to question if there is a serial killer in London who is targeting black women.

As the media is failing to report on these cases to a great extent, people have taken to Tik Tok to discuss these deaths, claiming that it is unlikely that all of these women died because of suicide or ‘non-suspicious’ causes of death as ruled by authorities. People believe that there may be something far more sinister transpiring here with a potential serial killer targeting these women.

As a result of the large number of specifically black women that have been found dead in or near the River Thames, some people online believe that it is the work of a serial killer. Authorities have yet to investigate these deaths any further and it is causing a lot of fear and frustration. Most of the women that were found in the River Thames are from South West/West London. Our thoughts remain with Samaria’s family and friends and all of the other women whose lives have been tragically cut short.
