Princess Kate recently shared a personal video message revealing that she is undergoing treatment for cancer following abdominal surgery in January. Initially thought to be non-cancerous, post-operative tests revealed the presence of cancer. In her video, Kate expressed gratitude for support and explained the challenging process of informing her children about her condition: “It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment.” She emphasized the importance of family support, stating, “Having William by my side is a great source of comfort and reassurance too.”

The doctors discovered the cancer during her abdominal surgery and suggested that Kate undergo preventative chemo therapy, which she is in the early stages of now. Kate has chosen not to reveal the type of cancer that it is, as she recovers and wishes for privacy at this time for her family to heal.
