According to this TikTok video posted by user @noahglenncarter, Saban is retiring from being the head coach at Alabama. Saban is reportedly known as one of the greatest coaches in all of college football history. He has allegedly been the head coach of Alabama since 2007 and he spent 17 seasons with the Crimson Tide.

During his time in his coaching career, Saban supposedly accumulated approximately 6 national titles with the team and tons of wins. Sadly, Saban announced his retirement at the age of 72 which seemingly came out of nowhere, as the TikToker notes. His departure is sad news and there is reportedly no one lined up at the moment to replace him.

When asked about why he was retiring, Saban allegedly claimed, “Because I’m getting old I guess,” as the TikToker outlines inthe above video.
