February 8, 2025: The upcoming film The Death of Robin Hood has expanded its cast to include Bill Skarsgård, Murray Bartlett, and Noah Jupe, who will join Hugh Jackman and Jodie Comer in this reimagined version of the classic Robin Hood legend.

A Dark Reimagining of a Classic Tale

Directed by Michael Sarnoski, known for Pig, the film presents a darker take on the Robin Hood story. The narrative follows a battle-worn loner grappling with his past life of crime and murder, who finds himself gravely injured and in the hands of a mysterious woman offering him a chance at salvation.

Production Details and Distribution

Principal photography commenced in early February 2025 in Northern Ireland. The film is produced by Aaron Ryder and Andrew Swett under the Ryder Picture Company banner, alongside Alexander Black for Lyrical Media. A24 has acquired the U.S. distribution rights, with True Brit Entertainment handling releases in the UK and Ireland.
