She explained that the sensation felt like her appendix was bursting—pain radiating from back to front—prompting hospitalization and swift intravenous antibiotic treatment. Applegate also shared frustration about prior medical care, referencing dismissive questions about personal hygiene when she clearly knew something was wrong.
