Nataly and Murad Osmann are the epitome of a well-travelled couple. They were the originators of the ‘follow me to’ photos and frequent the globe on a seemingly weekly basis. Their travels have taken them from one exotic corner of the world to another – and they’ve captured it all in an enchanting way. Bali, Indonesia is one of their favourite locations, and they’ve shared tips for seeing the island their way.

Where to Eat

Sisterfields Sеminyak: The most delicious breakfast on the island.

Nalu Bowls: For us this place became a symbol of Bali.

Take Japanese Restaurant: Delicious fish.

Boy’N’Cow: A great restaurant in the Kuta District. The meat is brought from Australia.

Lazy Cats Ubud: A vegetarian restaurant. We haven’t tried it, but some good friends said it is fantastic.

Metis: A hip place with a fusion menu.

Macan Cafe: Our friends recommended this to us and said that it has the best tuna.

Favourite Area to Stay

Our favourite areas to stay in Bali are Uluwatu and Ubud. Uluwatu, because it isn’t in the centre of the party, so there are not as many people and it’s easy to seclude yourself. It is one of the southernmost points of Bali and there’s an incredible energy there and an incredible ocean. We love Ubud because it’s a forest — Bali’s heart — and it’s a cool place to meditate. It’s also nice to spend time on your own there, even if you’re not traveling alone.

Best Places to Take a Photo

Pura Tirta Empul, Gianyar, Bali. Tahan Lot. Mandapa A Ritz Carlton Reserve Ubud. Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay. Nusa Lembongan. Pura Bratan.

How to Get Around

It is beneficial to get around on a scooter. It’s almost impossible to get around by car, so take the scooter. And most importantly, we recommend that you live in different places to truly experience Bali.

Essentials to Pack

Shorts, a swimsuit, a good mood, and a camera to shoot all the beauty. That’s all that’s necessary to take to Bali.
