An interview featuring Blake Lively seemingly being mean to an interviewer alongside a co-star has resurfaced amid drama within the cast of her latest film, “It Ends With Us.”

August 14, 2024– According to stunning new footage that has resurfaced online, a past interview clip from 2016 featuring Blake Lively and her co-star at the time, Parker Posey (Cafe Society), is making its rounds on social media platforms such as TikTok and Twitter- and people are not pleased with Lively’s responses to the interviewer at the time, Kjersti Flaa.

The interviewer who originally shared the clip and was interviewing Lively at the time, Kjersti Flaa, posted the full interview to her YouTube channel earlier this week here. In the now-viral video, Flaa claims that this was her “nightmare interview” and captioned the clip, “The Blake Lively interview that made me want to quit my job.” This interview follows recent alleged drama from Lively’s latest movie, “It Ends With Us” in which fans have reportedly been calling out the star for making the promo about herself, her husband, and her new haircare brand instead of focusing on the main message of the film, which is about DV.

Flaa also said this in the description section of the video:

Sitting down with Blake Lively and her co star Parker Posey for Cafe Society (2016) is the most uncomfortable interview situation I have ever experienced. Is it not ok to congratulate someone on their pregnancy or to ask another woman about costumes she is wearing in a film? Let me know what you think in the comments.

In the video, the interviewer starts out by congratulating Lively on her “little bump” to which Lively seemingly fires back, “Congrats on your little bump!” However, Lively had announced her pregnancy earlier that year so the news was not groundbreaking.

The rest of the interview is seemingly uneasy, as most of the time it’s Lively and Posey speaking to one another, almost allegedly dismissing the interviewer in some moments. Overall, it seems as though it was, indeed, a very uncomfortable encounter, as the interviewer claimed.

In the comment section on YouTube, viewers were stunned to hear Lively’s responses during the interview, in which people claimed that she had “weird and uncalled for” behavior. People also called out how Lively and Posey didn’t even address the interviewer.

Others said that there were no excuses for the pair’s behavior in the clip towards the interviewer and that they were just exhibiting “mean girl behavior.”

In this Reddit thread discussing the interview, people did not hold back on their comments surrounding the 2016 footage.

“That was so rude and dismissive, the way these grown women treated the interviewer was very disrespectful. It felt like I was watching mean high school bullies ignoring another student they were forced to work with. Why wouldn’t Blake face or even address the interviewer? I thought my opinion of her couldn’t really sink any lower but yet here we are.”
