Vice President Kamala Harris has been going viral lately for many reasons. Most recently, the presumed Democratic Presidential Nominee held her first rally in Atlanta, Georgia. Harris was catapulted into the presidential spotlight after the current acting President, Joe Biden, stepped down from running in the upcoming presidential race.
Rapper Megan Thee Stallion was one of the main events at yesterday’s rally. She reportedly performed her hits “Savage,” “Body,” and “Mamushi.”. The rapper started her performance by saying,” Now I know my ladies in the crowd love their bodies. If you want to keep loving your bodies, you know who to vote for,”. (here)
Rapper Quavo also took the stage to support Harris. “One thing I learned about working with Vice President Harris is she always stand on business,” Quavo told the crowd. The rapper is supportive of Harris after she has worked with him on the issue of gun violence. His nephew and fellow member of the group Migos, Kirsnick Khari Ball, was a victim of gun violence. Ball, also known as Takeoff, was killed in November 2022 after an altercation at a private party. Two others were injured, but Takeoff‘s wounds were fatal. The Atlanta native is now very supportive of the Harris campaign, among others. Georgia Senator Raphael Warnock, as well as political figure Stacey Abrams spoke during the rally to show their support of Harris.
Say It To My Face
After other remarks, Vice President Harris herself had the last word in this rally as she addressed Former President Donald Trump. President Trump has expressed his distaste for running against Vice President Harris for President. Some of his distaste came from questioning Harris’ race or denouncing her creditability. Harris ended her speech by saying, “Donald, I do hope you’ll reconsider meeting me on the debate stage.” “Because, as the saying goes, if you’ve got something to say, say it to my face.”. (here)
