Deadpool and Wolverine’s official teaser is here. The new trailer dropped giving fans more of Wolverine and Deadpool.
July 18, 2024 – Deadpool 3 & Wolverine teaser recently dropped begins with Wolverine drinking at a bar and Deadpool approaches him. Deadpool’s world is destroyed and he needs Wolverine’s help.
The first teaser premiered during the Superbowl in February. A series of trailers came out since then.
Hugh Jackman reprises his role as ‘Logan’ Wolverine which he has been playing since 2000 in the X-Men films.
Deadpool 3 is once again played by actor Ryan Reynolds in the role of ‘Wade Wilson.’ Reynolds and Jackman team up again but this time as leads together on the big screen. Ryan has been in two other Deadpool movies.
When Did Deadpool and Wolverine meet?
The iconic superhero duo have had quite a few interactions from the comics as they have fought many battles together. They have forged unlikely alliances but also have been pitted against each other.
Deadpool first appeared in 2009 with Logan on the big screen in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
X-Men Becomes A Part Of Marvel
Disney acquired the X-Men franchise back in 2019 from 20th Century Fox. So now X-Men is part of the Marvel Universe. Disney acquired Marvel Productions in 2009.
So for the first time, fans will get to see Deadpool cross over into the Marvel Cinematic Universe on the big screen.
Wolverine Wearing A Yellow Suit?
We also get to see Wolverine donning his original yellow and blue suit from his younger days shown in the comics. He was supposed to wear it in the X-Men movies but fans didn’t get to see that side of him.
In one of the much earlier X-Men movies, we do see a teaser in 2000 where Wolverine discusses wearing his yellow and blue suit with other X-Men.
Did Wolverine Die In His Last Movie
*Spoiler alert* for those who haven’t seen his last movie. In the ‘Logan’ movie which is set in the future and takes place in 2029, unfortunately, Logan dies. However, in a parallel universe, Logan lives, as he does in this one with Deadpool. There is also a snippet from a Deadpool and Wolverine trailer that teases both heroes stepping into Dr. Strange’s universe.
Deadpool and Wolverine film out on July 26th in theaters.
