According to this article, a U.S. Senate staffer, only 24 years old, has been fired after it was alleged he was in an explicit video featuring two men having sex in a Senate hearing room. News of the video quickly went viral online when first reported, as noted here, in which the video supposedly showed two men having sex in public on Capitol grounds.

As noted in this TikTok video posted by user @shipwreck_show, the office of Senator Ben Cardin has parted ways with the alleged staffer involved in the leaked sex video also noted here. The staffer’s name is reportedly Aidan Maese-Czeropski. The other man featured in the video has allegedly yet to be identified.

As noted in this article, U.S. Senator Ben Cardin’s office released a statement about the legislative aide following the graphic video controversy. “Aidan Maese-Czeropski is no longer employed by the U.S. Senate,” said a spokesperson. “We will have no further comment on this personnel matter.”

Allegedly this all started with a group chat involving gay men who are either involved in or interested in politics as outlined in the above TikTok video. In that chat, they share everything from videos to comments to stories. This video was shared in this group chat and went viral from there.
