Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao are cast in the romantic sports drama “Mr. and Mrs. Mahi,” which is directed by Sharan Sharma and produced by Dharma Productions. The movie will be released on May 31, 2024, the film features them as a married couple deeply passionate about cricket and their relationship.

During an AMA session on Reddit, Janhvi Kapoor candidly addressed a fan’s question about the steamy scenes in her film. Exhausted after a long day, Janhvi and Rajkummar had to film a kissing scene. She shared that they felt completely drained while shooting these ‘lively’ romantic moments.  She also wrote on Reddit- “Most of mine and Raj’s romantic moments in the movie, me and him were completely exhausted. Like I think one of our first romantic moments were after 20-hour shift and both of us were feeling like dead and we had bad tummies, our bodies were broken and then we had to look like we were falling in love and we were gonna have our first kiss but really we were feeling we were dying inside.”

Despite the challenges, Kapoor emphasized the importance of having a supportive environment on set. She credited her co-star Rajkummar Rao and director Sharan Sharma for creating a safe space where she felt comfortable exploring the depths of her character. “Having trust in your team is crucial,” Kapoor noted. “It allows you to push boundaries and give your best performance.”
