RHOA Star’s Lawyer Claims She Was ‘Verbally Assaulted’ by ‘Unhinged’ Passenger Before FBI Investigation Began
Incident Followed BravoCon Weekend
November 18, 2025—The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams has broken her silence regarding the incident on a Delta Air Lines flight that led to her being escorted off the plane by police and is now under investigation by the FBI. Through her lawyer, Williams claims she was the victim of a hostile passenger who initiated the disturbance.
The incident occurred on Sunday, November 16th, on a flight traveling from Las Vegas—where Williams had been attending BravoCon 2025—to Atlanta. Law enforcement met the aircraft upon arrival at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, and Williams was seen being escorted through the terminal by an officer.

Williams’ Account: “Verbally Assaulted”
On Tuesday, Williams’ attorney, Joe Habachy, released a statement giving the reality star’s version of events:
“Porsha Williams was verbally assaulted by an irate and unhinged passenger without provocation,” Habachy told PEOPLE. “The passenger then proceeded to make false allegations that were in direct conflict with observations from several eyewitnesses.”
Williams’ lawyer asserts that the RHOA star was the one targeted and is ready to cooperate fully with federal authorities, adding that she “remains confident that the passenger will be charged.”
FBI and Delta Confirm Investigation
Both Delta Air Lines and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) have acknowledged that the incident is under review.
Delta Air Lines confirmed that cabin crew had to speak to two passengers during the flight, and that the plane landed safely and continued its normal operations.
FBI Atlanta released a statement confirming their awareness of the incident, allegedly involving Williams and at least one other person, and noted that they are “looking to see whether any federal charges may or may not apply.”
Because the incident occurred on an aircraft operating within federal jurisdiction, the FBI is required to conduct an investigation to determine if any federal offenses took place. As of Tuesday night, no formal charges have been announced against Williams or the other individual involved.
