Rob Lowe Reveals Michael Jackson Envied His Chin
February 7, 2025: Michael Jackson’s Admiration for Rob Lowe’s Jawline
Hollywood star Rob Lowe recently shared an intriguing revelation about the late pop icon Michael Jackson. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Lowe, 60, recounted an encounter with a plastic surgeon who informed him that Jackson admired his chiseled jawline.
The actor met the Thriller singer during his Bad tour in the late 1980s and later discovered that Jackson had requested a chin similar to his. Lowe said, “I actually was approached by a plastic surgeon … And he said … he introduced himself and he said he was Michael’s surgeon and he told me that Michael had requested my chin.”
The Parks and Recreation star humorously noted that, for a brief period in the 80s, his jawline was the most requested among plastic surgery patients.
Rob Lowe’s Approach to Health and Fitness
Aside from this surprising revelation, Lowe also spoke about his long-standing commitment to health and fitness. The actor has been on the Atkins Diet for over 30 years and believes science is now validating his health-conscious approach.
Speaking to GQ magazine, Lowe explained, “People used to make fun of me. But now the science is catching up – that it’s more than beauty sleep. It’s brain sleep, it’s body sleep, it’s focus.”
He also discussed how his training routine has evolved with age, noting that he has learned to train less as he gets older. He admitted, “The hardest thing for me has been to train less. I would train every day if I could … If I don’t feel like I’ve just killed myself in the gym, I feel like it’s been wasted time. Turns out, that’s not true—especially as you get older.”
Lowe’s Everlasting Hollywood Charm
Despite being in his sixties, Lowe continues to maintain his youthful appearance and active lifestyle. His insights into fitness and longevity, along with this amusing anecdote about Jackson, showcase his continued influence both in Hollywood and beyond.
