Reflecting on her desire, she shared, “Ever since the ‘Good for You’ days—that was, gosh, so many years ago—that’s the diamond I’ve always dreamed of.” Blanco, clearly attentive to her wishes, made sure her dream became a reality by choosing the marquise cut, a timeless and elegant design. However, the ring’s design evolved during the process, with Gomez ultimately deciding on a more understated look. “It used to have huge baguettes on the side and then she was like, ‘I don’t want something that big,’” Blanco added. Instead, he is going to make her earrings from the previous baguettes. “She basically has three wedding rings.”
Gomez echoed the sentiment, explaining why she wanted a simpler design for her ring. “I just think it’s too much,” she confessed, hinting at her preference for a more minimalist ring design rather than something overly extravagant.
