June 2, 2024- Jake Paul posted this video on TikTok recently which shocked fans who were gearing up for the Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight.
What happened to Mike Tyson?
In the clip, he claims that he has “devastating news” and is “heartbroken” about the news that the Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight has to be postponed. The reason? Tyson’s ulcer flare-up. “Unfortunately, due to my ulcer flareup, I have been advised by my doctor to lighten my training for a few weeks to rest and recover,” said Tyson as noted here in this related article. He continued, “My body is in better overall shape than it has been since the 1990s and I will be back to my full training schedule soon.”

Based upon medical advice, the fight has to be postponed as a result. It was originally scheduled for July 20, 2024 taking place at Arlington’s AT&T Stadium, but will now be moved. The updated date has not been announced just yet. “I do value Mike’s health, first and foremost,” said Paul in the TikTok video clip he posted.
Since the event has been postponed, this time will give Tyson the ability to recover from the ulcer flare-up. Fans were looking forward to this highly-anticipated fight which would see 57-year-old Tyson and YouTuber Paul fight.
