Creativity and imagination can help us do better on our job by finding alternative solutions to problems, thinking out of the box, seeing the little details and recognizing flaws and brainstorming for ideas.

READ A BOOK OR WRITE A JOURNAL

Books give us a fresh perspective on things and take us out of our comfort zone by narrating things differently from us. Imagining new endings on books could be a great way to channel your creativity and imagination. And making a fun time of reading can help you create a new and healthy habit and, as a plus, you can share it with people and find more things you have in common. By writing a journal you can find a new hobby you didn’t know you liked until you tried it, the fun thing about writing a journal is that there are no rules, you make them and break them as you wish.

SPEND MORE TIME OUTDOORS WITH NO DEVICES

Disconnect to connect. By distancing from your devices, you can take a break from your day to day and just relax and enjoy the day alone or with your loved ones. It can help you see what can be changed and need improving, help you think about things you couldn’t because you were too emerged in your own problems and admire things a little more.

DANCE, DANCE, DANCE

Dancing is not only fun, but you can practice new dance moves you didn’t know you had in you. And the best part? You can dance anywhere: in a dance class, in the living room, in your bedroom, on the dance floor (remember social distance), in the supermarket, anywhere. Have fun!

GET ARTSY

Take a bunch of colours and/or markers and start drawing whatever comes to mind, get a coloring book or paint something, if you enjoy painting. Art is good for us, not only it channels our creativity, but it can ease the stress and help us express ourselves even when we don’t even know we have something to express.

TAKE A TIME OUT AND ASK YOURSELF UNANSWERED QUESTIONS

The important part to these questions are the answers we give them and we have to keep in mind that nor the question or the answers should stress us, remember that this is an exercise for your mind to develop your creativity and imagination, not to exercise your stress. You should take off your mind of things, not put them on your mind.
