Man Responsible For Death Of Rapper Nipsey Hussle Convicted

Eric Ronald Holder Jr. has been sentenced to 60 years in prison for the fatal shooting of rapper, Nipsey Hussle.

In 2019, Nipsey Hussle was found dead due to a fatal shooting outside of his clothing store in Los Angeles. Court was held on Wednesday where Eric Ronald Holder Jr. (32) was found guilty, convicted of first-degree murder, two counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter and two counts of assault with a firearm for the gunfire that injured two others which added another 10 years (reported by Forbes).

Holder was sentenced to 25 years for committing the act and another 25 years for firearm enhancements were added to the charge.

The father of the accused submitted a letter to the court which was read out this Wednesday.

“I know there are not enough words or apologies that will fill the void, the loss, the pain, the deep sorrow the family of Ermias Asghedom (Nipsey Hussle) is experiencing. You cannot imagine the agony, the grief, the utter disbelief and devastation I feel knowing my son, Eric Jr., took another person’s life,” Holder’s father wrote, there were also details of the accused mother passing two months before the murder took place.
