Ashanti, 43, is pregnant and expecting her first baby with her romantic partner, Nelly, 49, a source confirmed Monday to Us Weekly. The pregnancy speculation first sparked over the weekend; Ashanti and Nelly put their hand on Ashanti’s stomach and stroked it. A decade-old romance finally bore fruit. The duo dated on and off from 2003 to 2013. In April, rumors were sparked at a boxing match in Las Vegas while they held hands. The baby will be Ashanti’s only child, while for Nelly, the baby will be his 3rd since he has already raised his children: his son, Cornell Haynes III, 24, and his daughter, Chanelle, 29, with his ex, Channetta Valentine.
