Alexee Trevizo is allegedly being accused of killing her baby, following putting the newborn in a hospital trashcan.
19-year-old Alexee Trevizo, an Artesia, New Mexico woman, has been charged with first-degree murder.
The woman allegedly placed her baby in a hospital trashcan but has been released from custody ahead of the upcoming trial, as noted here.

As the 19-year-old is still in school, she is allowed to attend school and graduation but must follow a curfew from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. However, she will not have to serve house arrest or wear an ankle monitor while released, awaiting trial- as noted here.

According to this article, autopsy findings discovered the baby was allegedly killed as a result of oxygen deprivation after being placed in a trash bag. The baby boy was reportedly breathing before he was deprived of oxygen. This ultimately indicated that the death was determined a homicide.
Trevizo now faces charges related to the newborn’s death.

Alexee reportedly went to the hospital complaining of back pain and denied being pregnant, although when the doctors found out she was pregnant she allegedly locked herself in a bathroom for 20 minutes, reportedly having the baby. After emerging from the bathroom, staff claimed the bathroom was covered in blood. A custodian reportedly discovered the baby’s body when taking out the trash.

Her mother was shocked to hear the news that the baby was full term, asking Alexee if she had heard the “news about the girls” and “what they do to their babies and what they go to jail,” as seen in the above TikTok video.
