HOLR recently had the opportunity to try Amberjack’s The Slip-On, which is a comfortable, full-grain leather shoe designed to look good and feel good. Here’s what I thought after putting them to the test.

Labeled as dress shoes, reinvented, The Slip-On is available in three colorways (Obsidian, Chestnut, and Honey) and offers all-around comfort. It can also be easily dressed up or down depending on the event. Wear it to work and then out for happy hour, as The Slip-On is crafted to move with you, thanks to integrated performance details such as pre-stretched A-grade leather and a mechanically-designed outsole.

HOLR’s Review

After reading glowing customer reviews, I was excited to give The Slip-On a go, as other users were raving about how great the shoe looked and felt. After trying on and wearing the Slip-On, I can confirm that the shoe really is as comfortable as it claims. I also appreciated the thoughtful details behind the overall design, because The Slip-On truly can take you from morning to night thanks to the stylish leather materials used, combined with the arch support and dual-density outsoles. I could also really feel the sneaker-like flexibility when on the move! 

Overall, this is a shoe that I can see myself wearing on an almost year-round basis for multiple occasions. Not only are they super comfortable, offering flexibility and support when worn, but the style is also super versatile. Since they feature a modern, casual yet elevated take on the classic dress shoe, they’re great for things like going to work or heading out for dinner.
