October 22, 2024- Ariana Grande has issued an apology to actress Cassandra Peterson, known for her iconic role as Elvira, after the actress claimed Grande ignored her during a meet-and-greet.

Peterson shared the story during a panel, saying she had signed autographs for Grande’s friends and relatives but was surprised when the singer didn’t reciprocate.

In response, Grande addressed the comments via Instagram, expressing that she was “disheartened” to hear the claims.

Grande shared that the event took place shortly after the Manchester concert attack, a time when she struggled with large crowds and public spaces.

A video of Peterson’s panel recently went viral, with another panelist joking that Grande is “playing the wrong witch” in reference to her role as Glinda in the upcoming “Wicked” film.

“It’s very complicated, because I find AI so conflicting and troublesome sometimes, but I think it’s such a massive adjustment period…I have so much respect for my sister Cynthia, and I love her so much,” Grande continued.
