Where Is Nicholas Godejohn Now?
Since being released from prison for serving time, Blanchard has engaged in several interviews. She has also been spotted alongside her now husband, Ryan Scott. In one of her first interviews since her release, Blanchard was asked about how she feels about her mother currently, to which she responded that she doesn’t recognize old photos of herself anymore.
She also doesn’t believe that her mother was a “monster.” She claimed that her mother may have had some demons she was struggling with.
She claimed that she didn’t want her mother dead, but that she just wanted “out” of her situation. She alleges that she thought that this was the only way out.
Dee Dee Blanchard Death
Blanchard plotted with a boyfriend she met online to kill her mother. Blanchard pleaded guilty to second-degree murder while Godejohn was convicted of carrying out the murder and sentenced to life without the possibility of parole for his actions.
In the viral interview, Blanchard was also asked about what she thought about her sentence. in comparison to Godejohn, her ex, who received a life sentence for the murder of Blanchard’s mother. “I’m sure that we both have a lot of regrets,” says Blanchard in the interview. “All I can really say is that I did my time and he’s doing his time for his part.” She also wished him well on his journey.
