Blanchard and Anderson’s relationship blossomed during Blanchard’s incarceration, with the pair regularly corresponding through letters. They tied the knot in a jailhouse ceremony in July 2022, while Blanchard was serving her sentence for the second-degree murder of her mother.
Despite the anticipation of a new life together post-release, Blanchard acknowledged feeling nervous about adjusting to married life outside of prison, particularly regarding conflict resolution. Earlier this month, Blanchard deleted her public social media accounts, reportedly at the advice of her parole officer, seeking to avoid trouble and maintain a low profile.
