Drake Booed Attending A Limp Bizkit Show In His Hometown

July 28th, 2024 – Fans allegedly booed Rapper Drake while he attended a concert in Toronto.

Rap Superstar Drake didn’t receive the warmest of welcomes this weekend in Toronto. He was attending a concert for the band Limp Bizkit with some friends. Lead singer Fred Durst wanted to shout out the rapper for coming to the show, but the audience wasn’t fond of hearing his name.

Fred Durst was left speechless as the audience ripped into the rapper with a boatload of boos. He questioned the hate, saying … “I thought Drake was your homie? What? No? Drake’s my homie.”. His reaction led to even more boos and escalated reactions. Some audience members even started throwing F-bombs at the mention of Drake’s name. Durst then dedicated their next song, “Take a Look Around,” to the rapper to try and clear the air of the negative energy.

The overwhelming hate thrown at the rapper isn’t surprising to many. He has been in the news a lot lately, but it’s not for people being fans of his music. Recently, the rapper got into a beef with another popular rap artist, Kendrick Lamar. Both rappers took to the studio and did what they do best to show fans their places in the beef. Drake used his recent song “Family Matters” to allegedly say Lamar’s children with his longtime girlfriend were actually fathered by his manager instead of him. However, Lamar didn’t let that diss slide as he released his hit track “Not Like Us,” dissing Drake for a lot of reasons, most notably for alleged pedophilia. The beef clearly isn’t over, as many fans have chosen Kendrick Lamar as the “winner” of this part of their beef. Will we hear some more songs from both rappers? We’ll just have to wait and see.
