The Islamic Republic has a history of brutality and unfair practices against the Iranian people and on Wednesday, Toomaj’s lawyer tweeted that an “order of execution” had been issued for Toomaj. Toomaj Salehi is only 32-years-old and this latest decision is just another example of the abuse of power and human rights violations practiced by the Islamic Regime.

Toomaj Salehi was released from prison for a brief period last year before police violently arrested him again. Salehi appeared in a video revealing he was tortured and in solitary confinement for 252 days after his initial arrest, which led to him being brutally rearrested. Now he is facing the death penalty in a heartbreaking decision that has caused uproar from UN experts as well as known activists and other Rappers.
