HOLR breaks down why Letecia Stauch verdict is trending following the conclusion of the Gannon Stauch trial.

As previously mentioned here, 11-year-old Gannon Stauch was reportedly murdered back in 2020 when his lifeless body was found stuffed inside a suitcase. Gannon’s stepmom, Letecia Stauch, was the top suspect in the case, in which it was reported that she stabbed Gannon 18 times and then fatally shot him before stowing away his body.

As noted here, Letecia Stauch, Gannon’s stepmom, has been found guilty of all charges in regard to the murder Gannon. As mentioned in this article, she tried to blame the attack on mental illness in which her defense claimed that she suffered from a ‘psychotic crack.’

As mentioned here, Gannon’s parents delivered a testimony stating “We are never letting him go,” following the guilty verdict. Gannons mother, Landen Bullard, reportedly fought back tears.

Gannon Stauch Autopsy

As previously reported here, Gannon Stauch’s autopsy previously went viral online after evidence was found determining that his entire body was decomposed and that he was wearing the clothing he died in. Dr. Susan Ignacio helped perform the autopsy and was ultimately called as a witness during the trial.  The cause of death was ruled to be a homicide.

Users also praised the judge during the trial, with one user stating “The judge was incredible, even handed, realistic, and fair. This will make it even harder for Letecia to appeal her sentence and I appreciate that there are judges like him in this country.”
