Actor Ryan Reynolds reflects on late comedy icon’s battle with anxiety in new documentary

Speaking at the Toronto International Film Festival, Reynolds admitted that he saw pieces of himself in Candy’s journey. The actor explained that Candy’s tendency to please others and his private battles with self-doubt were things he could personally relate to.
