As you can see in the clip, Carpenter is on stage performing when a firework goes off near her. In the video, she looks slightly spooked and then runs away- screaming as the fireworks are sparkling beside her-seemingly covering her mouth in disbelief and laughing it off.
It is unclear if the fireworks actually touched or burned the singer during her performance but she was able to say goodbye to the crowd afterward and all seemed good.
