Sabrina Carpenter Grammy Performance
February 6, 025- As outlined in MSN, Sabrina’s Grammy performance was full of laughs, quick costume changes, and nods to old Hollywood. The performance and choreography were particularly inspired by The Goldie Hawn Special. The variety hour show contains show tunes and comedy skits and has Goldie Hawn as the star.

According to Parade, both performances feature their stars in dazzling blue outfits giving comedic renditions of already-established songs. In addition, both stars end up disappearing down a flight of stairs only to pop back into the frame, eliciting laughter from the audience. Meanwhile, Sabrina starts her performance in a sparkly black tuxedo-style leotard and some physical comedy involving the spotlight and losing her cane. Hence, setting the tone for an iconic performance in the pop star’s career.
As outlined in Vogue Business, Sabrina has created her own unique brand due to her humor and distinct aesthetic. Both of which are evident in this performance. It is also not the first time she has taken inspiration from a classic entertainment star. For instance, Carpenter paid homage to Fran Drescher by wearing a leopard-print outfit resembling one worn by Drescher’s character Fran Fine.
