Long weekends are about relaxing, reconnecting, and refreshing—but when you’re headed to the cottage, the beach, or even hosting a backyard BBQ, stocking the cooler or bar cart can feel like a job.

This year, skip the heavy syrups and sugary mixes and keep things light and bright with Ocean Spray’s new line of sparkling juices. Tart and crisp with the perfect amount of celebratory sparkle, they’re a one-stop shop for easy cocktails, mocktails, or straight-from-the-can refreshment.

You can dress them up with your favourite seasonal fruit and herbs, or simply spike them with your favourite spirit when the sun goes down.

There are six delicious flavours to choose from, including the newest additions, White Peach Cranberry and Cranberry Pomegranate, and for those watching their sugar intake, there’s a lite version with just 1g of sugar.

From backyard BBQs to dockside happy hours, here are three must-try recipes to add to your long weekend rotation:

1. Peach Porch Fizz

Peachy and herbaceous with a tart twist

In a highball glass, muddle a few slices of fresh Ontario peach and basil leaves. Fill with ice and top with Ocean Spray Sparkling White Cranberry Peach. To turn it into a cocktail, just add an ounce of vodka or gin.

2. Berry Zen

Cool, calming and berry refreshing.

Pop your glass in the freezer about 15 minutes before serving for that extra frosty effect. Pour Ocean Spray Sparkling Cranberry Pomegranate juice over ice, then garnish with fresh pomegranate seeds and mint for that cool, calming effect. If you want to make it a cocktail, add a splash of rum!

3. Tart Family Sangria

A pitcher-perfect option for picnics, beach days, or the cottage!

This family-friendly take on sangria blends Ocean Spray Sparkling Cranberry Mango with fresh orange slices, frozen berries, and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. It can be put together within minutes and is full of flavour! Serve in a big pitcher and let everyone — kids included– go back for seconds. For the grown-ups, add a dry white wine as the base.
