Naomi Campbell and Anna Wintour Take Shots At Each Other During NYC Award Show

September 4th, 2024 – Naomi Campbell and Anna Wintour might have some beef following NYC Fashion Award Show.

Naomi Campbell and Anna Wintour got into a mini catfight at Harlem’s Fashion Row Fashion Show. The two fashion legends took the opportunity to take a few digs at each other on stage during the show. It all started when Anna stepped onstage and took a dig at Naomi for being tardy to the show, at which she was receiving an award. Despite her tardiness, Naomi received the Icon of the Year Award at the show. However, Ms.Wintour didn’t let the opportunity pass to call Naomi out for her tardiness. Anna told the audience, “I am a very punctual person, and I have the honor of presenting tonight to someone who is often late.” referring to Ms.Campbell. Anna also got so fed up with the lack of punctuality she eventually left.
Samira Nasr, Harper’s Bazaar editor-in-chief, then took the stage to present Naomi with the Fashion Icon Award. After she took the stage, Naomi admitted she’s always late but said things always work out how they should. Then, Naomi took a dig at Anna, explaining she preferred having Nasr present her with the award instead of Wintour. She said, “It wasn’t my choice to have the other lady [Wintour]. I’d much rather have this”. Many audience members reacted shocked to the statements, but the rest of the show went as planned. It’s safe to say Naomi and Anna might not be in each other’s good books for a while.
